Energy Pathways Program
Energy Pathways is a four-week self-discovery summer program for local high school juniors and seniors to get exposure and firsthand experience to a variety of careers within the energy industry.
The program’s curriculum is designed to develop fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities through guided hands-on activities, facility tours, job shadowing, classroom study, and more by industry experts.
The program’s primary focus is to highlight the daily responsibilities of Avista’s engineering, construction design, and skilled-trade careers. Check out an example of the course syllabus.
Do I qualify for this program?
Student applicants to the Energy Pathways program should have:
- A good attendance record
- A GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Interested in S.T.E.M. related subjects
- Will be junior or senior the school year after the program
