With approval from our utility commissions, these rate adjustments are now included in your current bills. Based on average usage, here is what the change looks like:

Earlier this year, we told you about the filing of the Purchased Gas Cost Adjustment (PGA) and other annual rate adjustments. We are required to file the PGA each year to true up the actual cost of natural gas purchased to serve our customers with what is currently in your rates. With approval from the Public Utility Commission of Oregon, your natural gas rates decreased on Nov. 1, 2017. On average, residential natural gas customers’ monthly bills decreased by $1.00 or 1.8 percent per month.
