Avista owns and operates six hydroelectric dams between these two locations. Our dams are surrounded by thousands of acres of land that offer epic outdoor recreational adventures and there are more than 100 recreation opportunities to explore.  

And remember: it isn’t a fun adventure if someone gets hurt. When recreating in water near a dam, be aware that it can contain hidden dangers. Play it safe and adhere to all the posted warning signs and safety guidelines. They are there for your protection.
