Home Weatherization Program
A more comfortable home starts here.
Real help for real homes is available to income-qualifying households. Our Home Weatherization Program is helping neighbors across Washington, Idaho and Oregon feel safer and more comfortable year-round. The best part? It’s FREE.
What is weatherization?
Weatherization helps make homes more comfortable through energy efficient upgrades. The upgrades help the homes stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
It can include things like:
- Adding insulation
- Sealing air leaks
- Improving heating and cooling systems
- Installing new doors and windows
Real stories from real people
Watch how home weatherization is helping customers in communities across our region. Our series of short stories, like the one below, show the impact weatherization can have in real life—in homes like yours.
How it works
We work with trusted local community action agencies to help eligible customers. The program can cover upgrade costs, so if you qualify, there’s no cost to you.
To get started, just call your local agency. They will:
- Talk with you about your home
- Help see if you qualify
- Walk you through next steps
